Our Program
Our program at Teddy Bear Friends Childcare is thoughtfully designed to support two key age groups: infants (10–18 months) and toddlers (18–36 months). Each group benefits from a nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment tailored to their unique needs.
Infant (10-18 months)
Our infant program provides a warm, secure, and responsive setting where babies can thrive. We focus on building trust through consistent caregiving, gentle routines, and sensory-rich experiences that support early development. Each infant receives individualized attention to foster emotional security and foundational skills.
Toddler (18-36 months)
Our toddler program encourages exploration, independence, and social interaction. Through play-based learning and guided activities, toddlers develop language, motor skills, and problem-solving abilities. We provide a stimulating environment that nurtures curiosity and supports each child’s growth at their own pace.

Who We Are
At Teddy Bear Friends Childcare, we believe every child deserves a safe, loving place to grow and every family deserves peace of mind. Our story began with Teddy Bear Family Childcare, founded by Noushin, a passionate early childhood educator and devoted mother of two, in her cozy Coquitlam home.
For sixteen wonderful years, she welcomed families from across the Tri-Cities, offering a nurturing environment where children could learn, explore, and thrive.
Over the years, our commitment to quality care, continuous learning, and child-focused practices earned the trust of hundreds of families. We’ve cherished every moment watching children blossom in a space that felt like home.
As the need for infant and toddler care grew, so did we. We transitioned from our home-based center into a licensed Group Infant-Toddler facility—now proudly known as Teddy Bear Friends Childcare. With expanded capacity, we’re excited to welcome even more families into our community.
Though our name and structure have evolved, our heart remains the same. We’ve lovingly recreated the warm, home-like atmosphere that families adored, and introduced a thoughtfully designed curriculum tailored to the unique needs of infants and toddlers.
